In March 1951, 60 Pimmit Hills residents got together to organize the Pimmit Hills Citizens' Association (PHCA) and state its mission which is still true today: "The Association’s activities are non-partisan, non-sectarian, and non-political. Its purpose is to promote, develop, and improve the general welfare of the Pimmit Hills community. Since its formation, the Association has provided a forum for discussing community needs and problems and a framework for organizing efforts to satisfy or solve them."

PHCA Meeting Schedule
The PHCA Community Meetings are typically on the 2nd Tuesday of the month at the Pimmit Hills Center, 7510 Lisle Avenue, in the Senior Center Room (large room closest to the intersection of Lisle Ave and Griffith Dr). The meetings start at 7:30 pm and all residents and homeowners are welcome to attend.
We run PHCA Meetings as hybrid meetings -- you can attend in person at the Pimmit Hills Center location mentioned above, or attend via Zoom. We try to set it up so that remote participants can see and hear everyone in the room, and in-room participants can see and hear everyone on Zoom.

Stop the "Pimmit Pipeline"
Washington Gas intends to finish their Strip 1 Tysons project by installing a massive 24" diameter, 325 psi transmission main through Pimmit Hills.
A pipeline route this large and long through narrow neighborhood streets is unprecedented in Fairfax County.
Local officials, neighborhood leaders, and Pimmit residents have been fighting this pipeline route for over ten years.
We've managed to delay the project for six years. And now the Strip 1 completion schedule is aligned with the Route 7 widening project that is planned for completion by 2031. This enables:
- A route far more typical for such large pipes down major roadways
- Combining two major infrastructure projects to minimize overall disruption to the public
